Hello to all of our musical friends, supporters and audience members!
We’re Still Here…   Suddenly, with no warning, winter has disappeared and spring is present in Nova Scotia. The men of Nova Voce have spent the past four months practising for the spring’s singing season, which will see three concerts performed in May honouring Canada’s sesquicentennial  anniversary. How does Nova Voce celebrate Canada’s 150th  birthday?  Why, by performing works that are written or arranged by Canadian composers, of course. From contemporary songs by Matthew Emery, Jeff Enns and Mark Sirett to well-known tunes by Ian Tyson and the late and much missed Diane Loomer, Bryan and the guys have put together another memorable show. Come and be inspired with love, joy, laughter, and occasionally, tears as Nova Voce brings the sound it is so famous for to venues in Cape Breton, Truro, and Halifax. As always, songwriters from the Maritime provinces will be well represented: works by  John Gracie, Leon Dubinsky and Rita MacNeil are sprinkled throughout our repertoire.
