My experience with organized choirs began when I was in the 5 th grade. I auditioned and was accepted into the “All Philadelphia Elementary Boy’s Choir”. At that time this was a new and a large choir of over 100 boys.  I later sang in my high school choir and then 23 years with my church choir.  My wife Joan and I moved to Nova Scotia in 2002. We started attending choral concerts so I could find a choir to join.  After Nova Voce’s first song I said to Joan “That is the choir I want to audition for”, and I talked to Terry Hurrell after the concert. I work as an engineer for Fossil Power Systems and am a motorcycle enthusiast. Joan and I enjoy cruising through beautiful Nova Scotia. We have two daughters, their husbands, and two grandsons that we visit frequently in Boston.
